Jen & Brian ~ Brunswick

I had the pleasure of shooting Jen & Brian's wedding yesterday in Brunswick. I LOVE a great love story and this couple definitely had it. The short version (hopefully I get this right without confusing anyone): The two grew up just miles from each other in communities in Connecticut and never met. Two years ago, Jen attended her friend's wedding, who was getting married to (it turns out) Brian's brother Todd. Jen and Brian never met at the wedding though! A few months later, Brian moved to Portland and his new sister-in-law Anne recommended he call her friend Jen so that she could show him around his new town. Anne mentioned to her husband Todd a few weeks later that she hadn't heard from Jen in about three weeks, which was odd. Todd reported the same thing about his brother Brian, who he also hadn't heard from in about three weeks. Put the two and two together... and yesterday, Jen & Brian were married at Brian's alma mater, Bowdoin College in Brunswick. Here is a shot of the two that I just loved. More to come this week! One of the most impressive details of the day was a photobook of Jen and Brian's engagements, taken by a fellow WPJA member and friend of the couple, Connecticut photographer Jennie Sjursen, whose shots were stunning!
